The “Aux Arbres” furniture collection celebrates nature, especially the mystical ambiance found in the forest. Its name is inspired by Victor Hugo’s poem, “Aux Arbres,” which reflects Hugo Drubay’s creative intent. He aims to capture the truth of nature through sculpture and the mystique of trees.

Hugo Drubay aims to highlight the art of traditional wood sculpture in furniture. He draws inspiration from both Louis XV furniture, such as gilded leaf wall consoles, and Art Nouveau, particularly the work of the cabinetmaker Louis Majorelle.

In his mirrors, Hugo Drubay seeks to depict the concept of rays of light filtering through tree branches in the forest. It’s as if a beam of golden, soft light illuminates the beauty of sinuous forms and the harmony that emanates from this scene.
