The Lodge Outdoor Armchair is made by French creative craftsmen in noble materials adapted for exterior use. It transcends from the living room to the terrace, from the terrace to the garden; imagined on the deck of a boat, in an artist’s loft, within a winter garden, cottage or lodge … Simple and luxurious, its design revisits the minimalism of the XXth century but with an added sophistication. The structure of brass textured and patinated in two tones supports the very finest upholstery produced by French artisans. With a strong piping detail, the combination of materials present a sober and smooth plaiting of soft luminosity. The outdoor fabric has been exclusively made by the prestigious house of Le Manach by Pierre Frey for Pinto Paris. The armrests and handles are of solid cork, a sensual, soft and warm natural material. The collection Lodge comprises of an armchair, a sofa, a stool, a coffee table and an end table. It can be studied and adapted upon request. The Lodge collection will be developed over time to encompass other beautiful items…
Born in Casablanca in 1943, Alberto Pinto left his cosmopolitan hometown to attend the prestigious Ecole du Louvre in Paris. His career took off in the late sixties in New York, where he became a famous photographer for lifestyle magazines. Whilst redecorating his Manhattan apartment – where he hosted countless, memorable parties – he realized that interior decoration was his true calling. The apartment make-over was a sensation, and in no time Alberto Pinto became the go-to interior decorator in town. Fifty years on, the Alberto Pinto agency has completed over 500 prestigious projects all over the world. The founder sadly passed away in 2012, but his legacy lives on through a talented, dedicated team of architects and designers.
