Stephen Antonson trained as a painter before turning to plaster, brushing it on in layers and sanding it until it holds light the way canvas holds pigment — earning him the nickname “master of plaster” from Architectural Digest, in a lineage that runs back to Jean-Michel Frank and Alberto Giacometti.

The Hilary chandelier is hand-sculpted onto a metal armature and finished with a soft, brushed texture that keeps the plaster’s handmade surface visible; it’s also available in a hand-painted bronze finish, in solid bronze, or in a bespoke colour of your choosing.
