The Edge Shelf is a refined interplay of contrasts where soft curves meet sharp lines in a quietly confident composition. The gently rounded frame is set against crisp, angular shelves, creating a harmonious balance of form and function.
Now part of the Veermakers by Louise Liljencrantz permanent collection, the shelf was originally conceived for a private residence in Italy, as part of a bespoke kitchen and wardrobe system. Designed to be wall-mounted and crafted from thick, layered veneer with a rich tactile presence, the piece lives beautifully beyond its original context — standing on its own, and integrating effortlessly into a range of considered interiors.
Veermakers was founded in 2017 by Louise Liljencrantz, one of Sweden’s most sought-after interior and furniture designers, in collaboration with KFK Cabinet Makers. The partnership grew out of years of successful joint projects and a shared passion for timeless design, honest materials, and exceptional craftsmanship.  All pieces in the Veermakers collection are designed by Liljencrantz and reflect her dedication to enduring quality and sustainable production. Her Stockholm-based studio, Liljencrantz Design, was established in 2009 and has received international acclaim for its bespoke, luxurious interiors for both private and commercial clients.Â
