Veermakers is built on a philosophy of ‘slow design’ — furniture made without haste by Stockholm designer Louise Liljencrantz, from honest materials like oak, walnut, stone and linseed-burnished steel, meant to be lived with for decades rather than seasons. Exclusive to The Invisible Collection, every piece carries the visible trace of hand-craft, from the burn of linseed oil on steel to the natural veining of stone.
Chop blends sharp architectural lines, oversized curves and subtle Japanese influence into a handmade cabinet built on a solid wood base for stability and topped in thick veneers of mahogany, oak or walnut. Hardware in solid blackened steel anchors the piece, while its top is capped in cognac or black leather with edge-stitched detailing, and its sycamore maple interior offers adjustable shelves with optional drawers. Crafted from solid wood, a living material, the cabinet is designed to age and patinate with the room around it.
