Introducing the Check Coffee Table by Louise Liljencrantz, a refined dialogue between contrasting materials and exceptional craftsmanship. Executed in through-dyed black Anegré veneer with a deep, high-gloss finish, and elevated by precisely crafted maple marquetry, the piece strikes a careful balance between clarity and softness. Straight geometric motifs are achieved through parquetry, while the curved elements are formed using intarsia, showcasing true technical mastery.
Framed by tactile textile panels and upholstered in Dedar’s jacquard fabric Untitled 1948, Check becomes a quiet focal point — a centred, architectural presence that grounds and enriches the space.
Veermakers was founded in 2017 by Louise Liljencrantz, one of Sweden’s most sought-after interior and furniture designers, in collaboration with KFK Cabinet Makers. The partnership grew out of years of successful joint projects and a shared passion for timeless design, honest materials, and exceptional craftsmanship.  All pieces in the Veermakers collection are designed by Liljencrantz and reflect her dedication to enduring quality and sustainable production. Her Stockholm-based studio, Liljencrantz Design, was established in 2009 and has received international acclaim for its bespoke, luxurious interiors for both private and commercial clients.Â
