Founded by Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud, Le Berre Vevaud builds furniture from a shared admiration for Luis Barragán and Gio Ponti — pure lines, Art Deco echoes, and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship.
The Pienza console by Le Berre Vevaud rests a polished Cipollino Verde marble top on a base of ivory-lacquered tulipwood balls, their spherical rhythm reminiscent of a necklace strung beneath the stone. An olive green lacquered metal crossbar threads through the base, tying the composition together.
The duality between the console’s rounded, jewellery-like base and its oval marble plane gives the piece a distinctly poetic character. Every sphere is hand-finished, so the console’s silhouette reads less like conventional furniture and more like a piece of wearable architecture set at table height.
