The duo favours plaster, marble, lacquer and precious woods, produced entirely in France, most notably through their signature ‘Empreinte’ collection. The Lalo table by Le Berre Vevaud sets a natural white Taj Mahal marble top onto a structured, cut-steel base finished in high-gloss pink lacquer, a pairing that gives the piece a sense of elevated proportion despite its low, grounded form.
The marble’s soft veining plays against the sharpness of the lacquered steel legs, a study in contrast that runs through much of Le Berre Vevaud’s Terra collection. It is a table built to feel both architectural and approachable, precise in construction yet warm in its stone surface.
