The duo favours plaster, marble, lacquer and precious woods, produced entirely in France, most notably through their signature ‘Empreinte’ collection. Every piece is conceived as a study in material contrast — hard stone against soft curve, matte against gloss — rendered with the quiet confidence of architects who think in volumes before surfaces.
The Noto side table, part of Le Berre Vevaud’s Terra collection with artist Solène Eloy, is built around an églomisé glass top — a centuries-old technique of gilding glass from behind — whose cloudy textures and golden leaf pigments evoke drifting natural elements suspended beneath the surface.
The tabletop rests on four tulipwood balls finished in gloss-lacquered brass, available in Terracotta, Dark Red, Peach Blossom or New Ivory, giving the piece a jewelry-like base beneath its atmospheric glass. Because each board is hand-worked by Eloy, no two Noto tables share quite the same cloud pattern.
