Background
With over a decade’s experience under her belt, Delaye designs for private residences, villas, restaurants and luxury hotels. From Gabrielle Chanel’s private apartment to Jean-François Piège’s new table at the Hôtel de la Marine, from a collector’s house in Hossegor for Iconic House to the Beach club in Monte Carlo. In Paris and London, as well as on the shores of the Mediterranean, new projects are emerging. Today, she reveals her first furniture collection.
Signature Style
Dorothée Delaye invents and embodies the “Parisian Riviera Style”. A new style of French elegance. Parisian chic combined with the sunny side of the South. It’s no coincidence that the interior designer has chosen to base her two offices in Paris and Marseille. And this duality is in fact a single entity. His first furniture collection is in keeping with this timeless identity, far removed from fashions and trends, and aims to reveal our cosmopolitan society by giving it relief and character.
Showstoppers
An emblematic piece in its collection, the Zéphyr sofa imposes its silhouette inspired by the seventies. The generous seat, the enveloping lines, the movement of a wave on the armrests, all invite comfort. A work of solar energy, the Levant Table is a marquetry piece carved from fine oak like a totem pole, with a top adorned with a central ceramic wave and four legs sculpted with waves to better connect it to the earth.
