Handcrafted in the Naples region, the Magnolia Chandelier from Laclaux celebrates Italian craftsmanship through an airy, floral structure. Its 11 luminous corollas in opalescent glass paste cast a soft, warm glow. The 49 glazed ceramic magnolias, sculpted and hand-painted, adorn its branches with radiant poetry. Their subtle finish plays with light, evoking the impression of suspended blooming. Each detail, shaped with precision, captures the living essence of the magnolia in full bloom. An exceptional piece where light and material engage in a timeless, organic harmony.
Laclaux embodies the vision, skills, and sensitivity of Chloé Nègre and François-Xavier Fonbonnat. Both alumni of the École Camondo, they built their careers on separate paths: François-Xavier working at some of France’s leading design agencies, while Chloé founded her eponymous studio. By merging their longstanding experience and sharing a deep passion for craftsmanship and responsible design, they create new collections of furniture pieces inspired by their distinctive perspectives, where creativity and environmental consciousness are the cornerstones. The collection opens its doors to the transmission of knowledge, craftsmanship, ecology, sharing, and transparency, with a mission to bring excellence to furniture making.
