The Luco Table by Studioparisien

Stories Editor's Pick The Luco Table by Studioparisien

From an elegant dining room in Marylebone to a grand space overlooking Central Park, the Luco Table takes center stage.

Here is the conversation starter for any dining room: With an alluring interplay of contrasts between the seemingly simple oval-shaped top and the sturdy column-like legs, the Luco Table is available in a variety of finishes, from glossy to natural, that define its personality. The name “Luco” has an interesting story: it’s the nickname given to the Luxembourg Gardens by young Parisians who spent their childhood playing hide and seek amidst the garden’s well-trimmed, evenly-shaped shrubs. It’s no wonder that Studioparisien’s founders were inspired by fond memories of their playground when creating Luco.

Laurene and Romain, the creative duo behind Studioparisien, come from different backgrounds. However, their distinct perspectives are their strength, pushing each other to achieve a Parisian aesthetic sui generis. Notably, their interpretation of French chic for luxury brands like Cartier. The Luco Table is a welcome addition to their furniture collection, which already includes the gorgeous Panther Sofa. A versatile design, the Luco Table finds its rightful place in any contemporary decor. Its most recent bespoke iteration stands magnificently in the dining room of PH 76, a stunning penthouse high above Central Park designed by Banda and featuring Invisible Collection’s iconic designs. Discover the Luco Table in its myriad iterations of materials and finishes.

Studioparisien

Laurene, an interior designer from the Penninghen art school, and Romain, a scenographer and designer, met whilst working on their first project for a French luxury House. «A true revelation!» they both said. Their collaboration is as fluid as it ebullient, and it feeds on their very complementary differences. Their highly symbiotic artistic sensibility led them to create their own interior architecture and design agency. Uniting and combining their ideas, they design expressive, elegant and contemporary spaces that showcase the high quality of French craftsmanship.
