Like a jewel set with azure marble and deep cobalt blue glass, the Joía wall light brings a refined glow to any space. Crafted in stoneware and delicately adorned with glass, it combines strength and subtlety in a harmonious balance. More than just a source of light, it becomes a decorative statement, adorning the wall with timeless elegance and poetic delicacy. Each detail, from the smooth surface of the ceramic to the brilliance of the coloured glass, evokes the artistry of fine jewelry, transforming the ambiance with warmth and sophistication.
Coming from a family where creation rhymes with tradition, Amande Haeghen studied art history and then jumped in ceramic work with both feet. The countless sketches that filled her drawing books had to materialize: Her hands finally finding purpose working the clay with swift, precise gestures. Instinctively drawn to wall installations, she creates an array of styles mixing a variety of organic shapes that fit and embrace the walls like a second skin. Following the opening of her namesake Parisian studio in 2018, she opened an additional workshop in Lisbon in 2021.
