Each Dagmar piece carries forward an authentic fragment of Scandinavian design history, crafted from solid wood, leather and natural fabrics that age and mark with time, so that every chair, table or sofa becomes more personal, not less, the longer it lives in a room.

The Medallion Chair by Nils & Eva Koppel revives a design the husband-and-wife architects created in the early 1950s, long before their modernist buildings made them famous. Originally known as Model 190 and produced by Slagelse Møbelværk, it remains one of the earliest examples of the couple’s distinctive blade arms and organic curves. Dagmar’s edition is crafted in solid walnut and upholstered in cognac Ganova leather, its grain deepening with time so that no two chairs are ever quite alike.

This creation is crafted from solid wood, a natural material that naturally expands, contracts and cracks with temperature and humidity changes. Variations in grain, colour, and texture are inherent and natural. These natural changes are a sign of authenticity, and part of what makes each piece unique.
