Damien Langlois-Meurinne designed the Convergence console as a study in restrained tension between a geometric pinewood base and a sensually curved marble top. Produced in a limited edition of ten and made strictly to order by French craftsmen, the console’s wooden base is built from assembled planks whose grain, veining and color shift naturally from piece to piece, a mark of authenticity the designer, known for treating noble materials like linen, lacquer, bronze and solid wood with quiet freedom, has always embraced rather than hidden.
