The Boundary Bend Rug by Raphael Navot x Diurne is inspired by satellite cartography. For many years, Navot has been collecting satellite images from all over the world as though they were pictorial mementos. By focusing on some details from image, he highlights the singularity of a soil, of a place, and of its texture and colours. Each image reflects the history of a place and its people. The Boundary Bend Rug represents wheat fields at Boundary Bend in Australia’s Victoria State.
