Emmanuel Levet Stenne designs lighting and furniture from his workshop near Fontainebleau, guided by a quest for simplicity and balance, pairing brass with stone, wood or glass, and collaborating closely with artisans who polish alabaster and marble until the material seems almost to hold an emotion.
The Night Cup Table Lamp Small rises like a piece of luminous architecture: from its column of black-patinated or polished brass emerges an alabaster corolla, open like an outstretched hand offering its glow to the room. Small in scale but sculptural in presence, it captures Emmanuel Levet Stenne’s gift for turning a functional object into a quiet, generous gesture of light.
After perfecting his design skills at the ENSCI/Les Ateliers School, Emmanuel Levet joined designer Eric Schmitt’s famed studio and workshop. Emmanuel Levet Stenne debuted at the Carole Decombe Gallery in 2014 with his first collection in collaboration with the ceramist Isabelle Sicart. Since then, he has presented more solo collections of furniture and lighting.
