The Alta Lounge Chair by Oscar Niemeyer and his daughter Anna Maria Niemeyer is the first piece of furniture they designed in 1971. The pudgy seat is counterbalanced by the elegant metal curve that flows from the base to the backrest, lending the piece a striking, sculptural quality.
