The Rio Rocking Chair by Oscar Niemeyer and his daughter Anna Maria Niemeyer was originally designed in 1978. Arguably the master’s most iconic and famous design, the Rio Rocking Chair is a feat of exquisite curves and sinuous forms. Created for his personal use, the chair features the unmistakable L-shaped seat in cane supported by a sheet of bent wood… It definitely rocks! Bearing an embedded seal certifying its authenticity by the Fundação Oscar Niemeyer, the Rio Rocking Chair is a re-issue handcrafted from black-lacquered wood, caning, and leather

With its pioneering re-edition work, ETEL brings back graceful designs of the modern Brazilian production, discovered only recently, and now considered as one of the most relevant worldwide for that period.
