With the Modulo Ottoman Cowhide, Etel continues its role as the official re-editor of Oscar Niemeyer’s furniture, the small but fiercely inventive body of work the architect of Brasília and the United Nations Headquarters created alongside his daughter Anna Maria Niemeyer. Each re-edition is handcrafted and bears the seal of the Fundação Oscar Niemeyer, certifying its authenticity.

Companion to the Módulo low chair, this ottoman shares the same black lacquered wood structure and enveloping, sophisticated form, upholstered here in cowhide whose natural markings make every piece subtly unique. Together with the chair, it lets Niemeyer’s laid-back 1970s silhouette extend into a full seating arrangement.
