Francesco Balzano is a Parisian architect-designer whose childhood between Venice, Rome and Florence left him with an instinctive feel for stone, light and proportion, an instinct that now drives the sculptural furniture produced under his own label, SATTIO Studio, marrying Scandinavian minimalism with Italian grandeur.
This leather edition extends the Murano collection beyond resin, wrapping the console in natural khaki leather whose earthy tone echoes the marine and mineral colours of the Venetian lagoon and its island namesake. Also available in natural orange leather, it trades the resin version’s glassy translucency for the warmth and grain of hide, signed and numbered as one of only twelve pieces.
