Francesco Balzano brings a builder’s discipline to every object he designs. Raised between Venice, Rome and Florence, he channels the drama of Italian classical architecture through a distinctly French sense of restraint, a duality that has earned him a place among AD France’s 100 Best Designers and that now defines the sculptural, limited-edition furniture produced under his own label, SATTIO Studio.
The Murano table stretches the collection’s sandblasted-glass language across a larger surface, its opaque resin top signed and numbered in colourway FB20/04 and worked to the same matte, water-polished texture found across the range. Balzano designed it to sit as a solid, quietly monumental object at the centre of a room, carrying the muted green and stone tones of the Venetian lagoon at full scale.
