Tempio Chair – Onyx

Francesco Balzano brings a builder’s discipline to every object he designs. Raised between Venice, Rome and Florence, he channels the drama of Italian classical architecture through a distinctly French sense of restraint, a duality that has earned him a place among AD France’s 100 Best Designers and that now defines the sculptural, limited-edition furniture produced under his own label, SATTIO Studio.

Cut from white onyx, this Tempio chair carries the same brutalist purism as its marble counterpart but with a stone that seems to hold its own inner light, a quality Balzano ties back to Tempio’s roots in Casa Malaparte and Michelangelo’s Pietà. One of only twelve signed and numbered examples, also available in Grand Antique marble.

The images showcased are high-quality 3D renderings designed to closely represent the piece, though they may not capture every detail with complete precision.
Each piece is unique due to its handmade nature and the marble's distinctive veining. The veins and shades may vary slightly.
