MCDE Gallery is the reference for reissues of Pierre Chareau’s most iconic designs. Over the past forty years, the gallery founded by French art collector Maxime Defert has done an outstanding work by perpetuating the legacy of the great architect and designer. Defert, a great admirer of Chareau, thought it was his duty to reissue his work and bring to people’s homes the designs of “one of the most modern creators of the first half of the 20th century”. Now, Pierre-Emmanuel Risch and his wife Carole, continue to promote Pierre Chareau’s unique works – lighting fixtures and furnishings – by producing exquisite reissues in their workshops in France.
