The Angle sconce designed by Pierre Chareau is not just a lamp. It is a small architectural device that transforms a corner into a source of light, embodying Chareau’s belief that furniture and lighting should function as extensions of the space they inhabit. Characterized by its precise geometric form and softly diffused glow, the fixture integrates seamlessly into the architecture of a room rather than simply decorating it.
Crafted with a metal structure and a luminous alabaster panel, the sconce emits a warm, ambient light that highlights the natural translucency of the stone. The alabaster is available with either brown or white veining, each piece subtly unique and expressive of the material’s natural character. Because of the natural qualities of alabaster, hues and veining may vary from piece to piece.
