Pair of Diamentes Cushions

Add to Wishlist

“Diamentes,” Spanish for diamonds, names both the pattern and the Mexican collection it belongs to, a direct nod to the years Jennifer Shorto spent living in Mexico City, where she first began collecting the antique textiles that would later shape her own fabric house. The faceted, angular repeat draws on the geometric vocabulary common to Mexican weaving traditions, translated into a more graphic, contemporary register. It reflects Shorto’s long-standing method: a pattern encountered somewhere in the world, then tested and refined with the mills she has worked with for years until it holds a logic of its own. Sold as a pair, the cushions suit rooms built around collected objects and layered textiles, holding their own against a plain sofa or alongside other patterns from her library.
