The Black Mahogany Mini Cloud Side Table by Louise Liljencrantz and Lison de Caunes is a petite version of the signature Cloud Coffee Table, from the Veermakers collection. Just like its bigger sibling, it appears to hover in the room, softening gravity’s pull toward the floor. This striking piece is made possible through meticulous attention to detail, with a perfect balance between the straw marquetry’s various shades and the wood’s satin and high gloss finishes. Graceful elliptical legs in mahogany resemble tree trunks reaching up into the clouds; its top is adorned with straw marquetry mesmerizing shades of black conjuring depth and contrast. A thought-provoking design that adds an organic touch to any interior, it changes and evolves according to the light and viewing angle, constantly revealing new enticing details. Â
Veermakers was founded in 2017 by Louise Liljencrantz, one of Sweden’s most sought-after interior and furniture designers, in collaboration with KFK Cabinet Makers.
