The Glow Lunar Collection by Sophie Dries debuted at Milan Design Week 2021. Commissioned by Mr. Lawrence and presented at the CTMP Design Auction –celebrating the most influential voices of the contemporary collectible design scene- this striking piece is available in a limited edition. Sophie Dries’ choice of paper draws from the papier-mâché́ process that lends the pieces a raw, textural, stone-like quality.
Before founding Kaia in 2013, Manuela Szewald worked as a tax lawyer for a financial institution in Frankfurt and London. It’s in 2010, whilst refurbishing her family’s holiday home – a hamlet of 300-year-old farmhouses- that she rediscovered her deep passion for interior design and the preservation of traditional craftsmanship.
