Many of Thierry Lemaire’s pieces are named for places in New Caledonia, where he was born — villages, rivers and regions picked out on a map, the same way he named the Koumac armchair after a town in the territory’s north. His Paris gallery limits every edition to thirty or forty pieces, all made in France.
The large Niko lounge chair is upholstered in Edition 169’s Koshi fabric on a polished aluminium base, also shown in natural oak with Astrographia fabric.
Architect, Interior Designer and Designer, Thierry Lemaire’s three-dimensional approach has led him to expand his horizon and broaden his palette encompassing a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. Today, from his studio located in the heart of the Parisian Rive Gauche, Lemaire caters to an international clientele; his distinct style mainly focused on interior architecture and furniture design.
