Vis-À-Vis Paris was founded as a haute-couture linen house, dedicated to hand-embroidered household linens made with the patience and precision of couture ateliers. Relaunched under Véronique Taittinger, the maison kept its in-house embroidery workshops at the heart of every piece it produces.

The Mila Placemat & Napkin set is named for one of Vis-À-Vis Paris’s own embroidery patterns, hand worked on 100% Belgian linen with the delicate, graduated colour shading that has defined the maison’s designs since its 1989 founding. Its motif sits close to the studio’s founding vocabulary, a reminder that behind every hand-embroidered pattern is a named design and an embroiderer who worked it thread by thread.
