Stories Editor's Pick PAD London 2024

Discover Frieze and PAD London 2024 highlights and enjoy an exclusive preview of new designs at Invisible Collection's gallery located between Regent’s Park and Berkeley Square.

This October, London will be at the center of the international collectors’ map with two outstanding fairs, both attracting flocks of art enthusiasts and design connoisseurs. Frieze, arguably the world’s coolest art fair, has now reached a level of maturity and gravitas, boasting world-class galleries and exceptional public programs. Meanwhile, PAD, now in its sixteenth year, continues to grow and will present a lineup of over 60 exhibitors. Located literally in between the two fairs’ venues—The Regent’s Park and Berkeley Square—stands Invisible Collection’s gallery, which will be open to the public throughout the busy week of events.
Highlights from this week of art & design include Frieze Sculpture, a free outdoor exhibition returning in expanded form to The Regent’s Park, showcasing works by Leonora Carrington, Theaster Gates, Yoshitomo Nara, and more. Curated by Fatoş Üstek, this edition features 22 leading international artists, whose works will be displayed throughout the park’s historic English Gardens. Another special activation from Frieze is Smoke, a new themed section organized by Pablo José Ramírez, a renowned curator from the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. Smoke will present ceramic works that explore diasporic and indigenous histories, bringing together international artists to highlight ceramics as one of the most impactful aesthetic forms in contemporary art. PAD London has also expanded and now boasts a lineup of over 60 galleries, including several new entries. Alongside sculptural pieces, visitors will enjoy a variety of designs on display, with a special focus on jewelry and vintage furniture.
Invisible Collection London joins the celebrations with a special exhibition close to our heart, as we unveil the debut collection of Laclaux. Founded by Chloé Nègre and François-Xavier Fonbonnat, Laclaux is the result of years of collaboration, shaped by a collective vision that values emotional, environmental, social, and collective responsibility. This new furniture brand reflects a shared journey of inspiration, creativity, and environmental consciousness. The Laclaux furniture pieces on display are available exclusively through Invisible Collection.
We hope to welcome you to our London Gallery during the week of Frieze and PAD.

Laclaux

Laclaux embodies the vision, skills, and sensitivity of Chloé Nègre and François-Xavier Fonbonnat. Both alumni of the École Camondo, they built their careers on separate paths: François-Xavier working at some of France’s leading design agencies, while Chloé founded her eponymous studio. By merging their longstanding experience and sharing a deep passion for craftsmanship and responsible design, they create new collections of furniture pieces inspired by their distinctive perspectives, where creativity and environmental consciousness are the cornerstones. The collection opens its doors to the transmission of knowledge, craftsmanship, ecology, sharing, and transparency, with a mission to bring excellence to furniture making.
