Background

Veermakers was founded in 2017 by Louise Liljencrantz, one of Sweden’s most sought-after interior and furniture designers, in collaboration with KFK Cabinet Makers. The partnership grew out of years of successful joint projects and a shared passion for timeless design, honest materials, and exceptional craftsmanship.

All pieces in the Veermakers collection are designed by Liljencrantz and reflect her dedication to enduring quality and sustainable production. Her Stockholm-based studio, Liljencrantz Design, was established in 2009 and has received international acclaim for its bespoke, luxurious interiors for both private and commercial clients.

Signature Style

Veermakers products are carefully created, from sourced tree to final piece, with the highest quality of craftsmanship. All woodwork is crafted in their two carpentries, located in Stockholm, Sweden, and Fiskars, Finland. By managing their own carpentries, they maintain complete control over every step of production, from the initial sketch to the final product, ensuring that both materials and craftsmanship meet their uncompromising standards. Veermakers‘ team consists of highly skilled artisans and certified Master Cabinetmakers. Their expertise allows them to innovate, experiment with techniques, and create one-of-a-kind pieces that proudly bear the Veermakers signature of excellence.

With a focus on long-lasting natural materials and superior craftsmanship, the collection embodies Liljencrantz’s alluring, timeless aesthetic. Highlights include the Eight Table, a striking limited-edition design made of steel burned in linseed oil. Each design is defined by the natural colour of its material, thus unique in its character.
