If life indoors is the new normal, let’s make the most of it by adding some desirable elements to the décor. We decided to revisit the ultimate trope of cozification by selecting some designs in cashmere and alpaca.

Speaking of covetable textiles, we fell in love with Barrie’s new collection of cushions. One of Scotland’s oldest cashmere manufacturers, specializing in sweaters and knitwear, Barrie has been supplying the biggest names in fashion since its inception, and now the brand is run by Chanel. The work is still done by skilled artisans in the Scottish mill of Hawick, whilst the creative studio in Paris oversees the artistic aspects of the collections. The latest offering includes some darling cashmere cushions featuring a poetic interpretation of a thistle, the national emblem of Scotland, flanked by two Bs, Barrie’s initial.
When it comes to luxurious fabrics, Alpaca too is a favorite of ours, and one of the most valued fibers in the world. This high-quality wool is the material of choice for dressing the bed with Le Chardon’s exclusive duvets.
