Fleur Delesalle’s furniture reads like a garden catalogue: Peony, Marigold, Daylily, Hollyhock, Poppy, Crocus, each name attached to a piece built around soft, rounded volumes and a cheerful, minimalist sensibility. The designer, who spent six years with India Mahdavi before opening her own studio, has since been recognised with the AD x Land Rover Design Award for a body of work that manages to be both calm and quietly playful.
Gracefully sculpted in filled travertine marble, the Heather Console lets the stone’s natural, organic texture flow directly into its refined form, available in two sizes. Fleur Delesalle treats travertine here not as a surface finish but as the entire structure, so the console’s texture is felt in the hand as much as seen by the eye.
Fleur Delesalle founded her eponymous studio in 2011, in Paris. With luxury residential projects throughout Europe, and her vibrant displays at Paris Design Week, Fleur is regarded as one of the most talented designers of her generation.
