Few names in Paris carry as much gilded history as Goossens, the goldsmithing maison behind the Nénuphar Screen. Founded in 1950 by Robert Goossens and famously championed by Coco Chanel, the atelier has always worked at the meeting point of jewelry and furniture, treating brass and crystal with the same reverence a jeweler gives to gold.

The Nénuphar Screen is one of the largest canvases Goossens has ever given its signature water lily, spreading gilded brass blooms across full folding panels of brass instead of confining them to a mirror frame or table base. Used to divide a room or simply stand against a wall, it turns architecture itself into a piece of gilded jewelry.
