The Pom Pom side table by Hegi Design Studio is inspired by spherical architecture (Tianjin Binhai Library, Tianjin, China) and Nagoya City Science Museum (Nagoya, Japan). These stunning structures are proof that timeless shape has never lost its allure with architects and the world at large.
Design duo, and real-life couple Nelli and Juri Hegi founded their eponymous studio after their move to Australia. Originally from Kazakhstan, and having previously lived in Germany, they cherish their European background that enables them to understand heritage and authenticity. Through their families, they both experienced and understand that furniture should be passed from one generation to the next as good design is made to last.
