Behind Nordic Knots is a Stockholm family with rugs in its blood: Fabian Berglund, his wife Liza Berglund Laserow, and his brother Felix, who grew up around the textile trade. Their rugs blend the quiet discipline of Scandinavian minimalism with unexpected pattern and colour, crafted by hand in small batches and certified by Goodweave for fair labour practices.
The Moss rug completes the sculptural trio created when Parisian artist Garance Vallée reimagined Nordic Knots’ Grand collection with totemic cut-outs and transformed angles. Woven flat from New Zealand wool at 14mm thickness, its moss-toned palette grounds the collection in an earthy, organic register. Designed to work as a standalone piece or interlock with Dusty White and Leo like puzzle pieces, Moss brings both colour and sculptural intelligence to a room.
