The Pouly III Side Table designed by Sarah Chirazi carries the imprint of a designer raised between Dakar, Paris, and her Iranian and Lebanese roots, who treats every object as a fragment of a larger scenography where ancestral memory and French classicism speak the same language.
Finished in a warm, satin gold bronze rather than black, the Pouly III side table catches the light differently from the rest of the trio, turning the pulley’s worn wooden ridges into a sculpture that glows rather than recedes into a room. Limited to twelve signed editions and two artist’s proofs, it is the piece in the series best suited to standing alone, beside a favorite armchair, as a small golden relic.
An advocate of eclecticism, Sarah moves effortlessly from a Haussmannian apartment to a clay mountain retreat in Morocco, adding her whimsical touch while ensuring respect for the spirit of the place.
