Etel Carmona founded the label in São Paulo, and today her daughter Lissa Carmona carries it forward as the sole re-editor of landmark Brazilian modernist design, working directly with the estates of masters like José Zanine Caldas, Gregori Warchavchik and Oscar Niemeyer alongside living architects such as Arthur de Mattos Casas. Sustainably sourced native woods, cane and leather, all FSC-certified, keep every re-edition rooted in the country that inspired it.

The Wyllis Nightstand, designed by Arthur de Mattos Casas, plays a quiet game of hide and seek: what looks, at first glance, like a single drawer set behind a travertine door opens to reveal a smaller drawer nested inside it, and that one, in turn, conceals another still smaller, tucked behind the cool stone surface. Built in natural Freijó wood with drawers and doors clad in travertine, and fitted with two hidden power outlets, the piece rewards curiosity with genuine, unhurried craftsmanship.
