Founded in 1931 by Marcel Barbier, Veronese is in fact a French house, not Italian as its name suggests, built entirely around Murano glassmaking. Nearly a century on, it still commissions its lighting from outside architects and designers — Patrick Naggar, André Arbus, Fredie Jochimek, Samuel Accoceberry among them — each interpreting Murano glass, bronze and brushed brass in their own way.

Designed by Patrick Naggar, the Orbe wall lamp pairs bronze with Murano glass in a silk tone.
