For the Anemone collection, Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman drew inspiration from the aquatic world. Fascinated by the graceful movement of sea anemones, they imagined a chandelier that would capture the fluid poetry of underwater life.
The concept was to assemble a multitude of Murano glass elements, each entirely shaped by hand. These delicate glass “flags” evoke the soft, waving tentacles of marine creatures, creating a sense of motion and lightness. Sensitive to air and touch, they seem to respond to caresses, bringing a vibrant dynamism far removed from traditional lighting fixtures.
Founded by Marcel Barbier in 1931, Veronese is a French design brand born out of the idea that bringing together different worlds begets endless possibilities. Passionate about Murano artistry, Barbier was determined to merge the mastery of Muranese artisans with the expertise of French designers to create novel, yet timeless designs.
