The Oti wall lampshade from Droulers Archtecture features ever-changing textures, the result of an artisanal process that makes each piece unique. Every mark made on the base creates new surfaces that capture light in evocative ways and enhance its material depth. A lamp with a strong, timeless character, in which material takes center stage and stands out with elegance. This lamp was created in collaboration with the artist Ottavia Sitia.
Each piece is entirely handmade, shaped through slow, mindful gestures. For this reason, every product is unique and may show slight variations, subtle imperfections in the finish, or natural patinas on brass surfaces. These are not flaws, but traces of the making — marks of time, material, and the human hand. Imperfection becomes part of the process and the soul of the object, making each piece truly one of a kind.
Droulers Architecture was founded in 2007 by sisters Nathalie and Virginie Droulers, with the ambition of creating an international studio dedicated to residential, commercial, and leisure projects. Today, the practice also specializes in architecture and interior design for luxury yachts. Droulers Architecture collaborates with a team of highly skilled professionals, working in close dialogue with artisans, suppliers, and specialists. Their approach is deeply rooted in Italian craftsmanship, showcasing exceptional know-how, experimentation with both traditional and innovative materials, and a relentless pursuit of perfection, in which the uniqueness of the human gesture remains central. Regarded as a fresh and personal re-imagination of Mongiardino’s legacy, the Droulers style is defined by a refined use of materials and details that lend spaces a timeless quality. Their projects are resolutely contemporary, even as they reinterpret forms and lines shaped by the past. Nathalie and Virginie pay particular attention to space and light, always seeking a perfect balance between elements and the client’s needs; because, as they often say, a project should be like a suit, cut to fit. “Our style is a union between past and present,” they explain.
