Johanna de Clisson, who trained first as a still-life photographer, works almost exclusively in chamotte earthenware, a coarse, sand-flecked clay, letting brutalist ruggedness collide with voluptuous, rounded volumes drawn from architects like Tadao Ando and Oscar Niemeyer.

The Play On wall lamp is cast in white chamotte ceramic, its playful name matching its sculptural form.

Wall lamp in white chamotte ceramic

Each piece is unique due to its handmade nature—shapes and shades may vary slightly. Because of the kiln firing and handcrafted process, the ceramic’s dimensions may vary by up to 10%
