Lined with iconic avenues, blue-chip galleries, luxury brand flagships, and renowned five-star hotels, the formed Triangle d’Or embodies a picture-perfect vision of the Parisian high life the entire world dreams of. It’s here, in this glittering, celebrity-fueled neighborhood, that Invisible Collection unveils a new residence, its first on the Right Bank. The name refers to the Golden Triangle, the area (literally a triangle by three of Paris’s most famous avenues: the Champs-Élysées, Avenue Montaigne and Avenue George V) that has become the epitome of Parisian luxury and high life. Here, where each building carries a glorious past, we found the perfect home to display Invisible Collection’s signature aesthetic through a curated display of contemporary design, objets d’art and artworks. Nestled in one of the Haussmannian buildings that dot the area, this vast apartment underwent a complete overhaul led by architect Belinda Diwan, who, while restructuring the apartment, retained its most significant architectural elements — think marble fireplaces and Versailles parquet floors, lofty salons, and cozy nooks connected by long corridors floored with chevron parquet. The feeling is of a quieter, more understated kind of luxury: the décor does not scream for attention; its allure is self-evident, each room a tableau of assured taste.
The entrance sets the tone: warm, elegant, captivating. A sculptural console by Emmanuel Levet Stenne, defined by his signature petal-like base, stands below a fascinating mirror by Pia Maria Raeder. Conceived as a work of art, it features 3,000 thin, spike-like rods of wood lacquered in silver. Absolutely stunning. The main salon reveals a multifaceted personality, sophisticated yet subtly laid-back. The living and dining areas merge within the same grand space, and yet conjure distinct moods. On one side, an undulating sofa, armchair, and ottomans by Sandra Benhamou are anchored by a coffee table by Louise Liljencrantz, defined by a geometric claw-like structure supporting the dark wood top. On the other side, a fantastic dining table in Santos rosewood and brass is flanked by Laclaux‘ lovely Baci chairs — the undulating silhouette of the backrest nodding to the designs in the salon — and offset by an elegant oblong bench that enhances the atmosphere of relaxed conviviality.
Each bedroom boasts a distinct yet serene personality, with specially designed headboards and custom-made mattresses by Lit National. This collection of bedding, specially made for Invisible Collection, is graced with a hidden feature, as verses from famous French poems are printed on the upper shell of each mattress. Like a secret love message cherished forever. A variety of sconces and wall lamps, in either ceramic or metal, add texture and depth to the intentionally sparse walls painted in soft hues from the exclusive collection created by Argile. In the master bedroom, one element stands out: an elegant valet by Marion Stora acting as a sculptural accent. More intimate and cosier, a small angular room becomes the perfect space for Leo Sentou’s sofa set opposite an original marble fireplace: an invitation to settle down and (re)read the classics; Proust, Stefan Zweig or Edith Wharton come to mind…
Objets d’art inject a lived-in feel into the space, as though the hand of an aesthete and collector had added one piece at a time, over a long period of journeys and discoveries. The same can be said of the artworks, each specially handpicked for this décor by the talented Carolina Pasti, a curator and art advisor invited by Belinda Diwan to interpret the spirit of the place by injecting colour and texture with paintings and sculptures from emerging artists.
Invisible Collection Triangle d’Or Residence is open for visits by appointment only.
