Alabaster has pride of place in this suspension, named after the material of which it is made. The opalescence of alabaster reveals its singularity through the light that passes through it. The central slate disc contrasts in its opacity with the milky white of the gypsum.
After perfecting his design skills at the ENSCI/Les Ateliers School, Emmanuel Levet joined designer Eric Schmitt’s famed studio and workshop. Emmanuel Levet Stenne debuted at the Carole Decombe Gallery in 2014 with his first collection in collaboration with the ceramist Isabelle Sicart. Since then, he has presented more solo collections of furniture and lighting. Â
