Emmanuel Levet Stenne’s Elytre pendant takes its name from the two protective shapes that cover the wings of certain insects when they are at rest, like a case. Here, a blown glass sphere is the object of all the attention and tension.
After perfecting his design skills at the ENSCI/Les Ateliers School, Emmanuel Levet joined designer Eric Schmitt’s famed studio and workshop. Emmanuel Levet Stenne debuted at the Carole Decombe Gallery in 2014 with his first collection in collaboration with the ceramist Isabelle Sicart. Since then, he has presented more solo collections of furniture and lighting.
