The Brutalist Mirror emerges from Goossens, the Paris maison whose founder Robert Goossens first turned a goldsmith’s eye on the decorative arts in 1950, translating haute joaillerie techniques onto tables, mirrors and lighting. Coco Chanel’s early patronage sealed the atelier’s reputation for turning humble raw materials into gilded treasures, a philosophy the Brutalist Mirror still embodies today.

Rock crystal prisms of varying heights and diameters ring the Brutalist Mirror, cast in metal with a brass finish and dipped in yellow gold, their uneven silhouette catching light unevenly across the frame. It carries the same raw, sculptural spirit as the Brutalist Lantern, proof that Goossens can push its gilded vocabulary toward something almost geological.
