The one and only giraffe native to Brazil… The Giraffe dining chair by Juliana Lima Vasconcellos was inspired by a naïve drawing of the elegant animal. This slender, sculptural structure with an elongated backrest exudes comfort and elegance. So iconic, it’s already included in the permanent collections of the MAD Museum in New York and the Museum of Brazilian Chairs. The Giraffe is available in a new iteration exclusive to Invisible Collection. Made of natural oak, this exclusive design is crafted by exceptional artisans in Europe to ensure faster shipping.
Born in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte, Juliana Vasconcellos studied architecture and construction management. After living in New York, London and Barcelona she returned to her home country and founded her own architecture & design studio. Her passion for furniture design stems from the many private project she worked on as her clients commissioned original pieces. She is now based in Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. Some of her designs are developed in partnership with her fellow architect Matheus Barreto.
