The Ligne Sofa by Leo Sentou shares its lineage with the work of Jean-Baptiste Claude Sene, the master menuisier whose canape droit shaped French seating in the final decades of the eighteenth century, reworked here into a pared-back, confident silhouette.
Upholstered here in Dedar’s Flair fabric in bianco with feet in gouged oak, the Ligne Sofa is meticulously handcrafted by a team of skilled artisans with bespoke fabrics available on request. What makes it special is its quiet confidence, a straight-lined frame that softens at the edges, offering comfort and elegance without ever needing to raise its voice.
Trained at the ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres School in Paris before moving to London to take a master’s degree at Central Saint Martins, Leo Sentou works on high end residential and hospitality projects honing his skills and sense for detail, whilst growing a strong passion for beautiful finishes. In 2021, Leo launched his first furniture line that encapsulates his love for noble materials and exceptional craftmanship.
