The name Maison Intègre, or “House of the Honest,” reflects both the ethical sourcing of its materials and the country’s reputation as the land of upright people. The atelier has collaborated with François Champsaur and Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, and partnered with Saint Laurent Rive Droite.

The Tôle Stool, designed by Marion Mailaender for Maison Intègre, is not just a seat. Belonging to the Tôle collection born from Mailaender’s trip to Ouagadougou, it carries the rippling rhythm of corrugated iron, the emblematic material she encountered shaping rooftops and daily life across Burkina Faso, into a sculptural piece of furniture.

Cast by hand in satin bronze from recycled metals, the stool’s undulating elements echo the Tôle Bench from the same collection, its form reflecting the cadence of the material itself. The result is an object that is at once functional and sculptural, its surface subtly unique from piece to piece as only handcraft can allow.
